Hola! Welcome to Protactile Universe™ (PTU)! My name is Jasper Norman and I’m a DeafBlind (DB) Travel Designer. Protactile Universe™ website is for everyone in the universe who needs DB resources, check out DB events through PTU, learn the Protactile (PT) language through various services, feel connected to DB stories, and even share my experiences as a solo DB traveler around the world!
Jasper is a proud DB Latino. He was born and raised in the North Eastern parts of the USA. He is the first generation American-born person from South America in his family. He has always loved to explore the world since age 13 years old and enjoys different cultures, foods, people, history, and languages through touch. He noticed there is little access to information for DB travelers. He decided to set up PTU so everyone can share their cultures together.
I hope you enjoy your journeys while connecting with PTU. I understand different kinds of barriers as I have experienced oppressions during my school years, careers, life events and more. I understand that DB people love to travel together to share memories for a lifetime. I understand it takes time to plan out travels so I am here to support you in designing the best travel plan that fits you. I hope to touch many more fellow DB travelers soon!
